Hilary Duff is detailing her decision to have children before tying the knot with husband Matthew Koma

Hilary Duff has no regrets in her motherhood journey.
The Younger alum, 38, referenced having children before marrying husband Matthew Koma during an appearance on the Tuesday, May 26, episode of The Morgan Stewart Show.
Duff shares son Luca, 14, with ex-husband Mike Comrie, and daughters Banks Violet, 7, Mae James, 5, and Townes Meadow, 2, with Koma.
Looking back on the earlier days of her romance with Koma, whom she met in 2015 while working on her Breathe album, Duff told Stewart that they broke up "twice" before tying the knot.
"[We] got back together, we were like, 'We should have a baby,' which is psycho," the How I Met Your Father actress told Stewart. "Absolutely psycho. Three weeks later, I think, I was pregnant with Banks."
Duff wed the award-winning musician, 38, in December 2019, over a year after they welcomed Banks.
"We had the baby, got married, which was actually so fun," Duff recalled, adding that Banks "walked me down the aisle. It was really, really fun. Luca walked Matt down the aisle."
"I would recommend it to people," Duff said.

Duff noted that she and Koma had split for a year before they got back together the first time. They later broke up again for six months before they began communicating again on apps like Words With Friends and ultimately reconciled.
On May 20, the mom of four proudly revealed she's reached cool mom status with some of her kids.
"My little ones are my number one fan," she said while on the Jennifer Hudson Show. "They want to be at all the shows. It's so cute. When my confetti cannons go off, they can't believe what they're seeing. It's really cute. Or if I do like a wardrobe change and I come out in something a little more like [done] up, they'll be mind blown."

Still, she admitted her 14-year-old doesn't give her any "cool points," though his friends might.
"But my teenager, I think he doesn't think I'm totally embarrassing," she said. "I think it's coming for me. Some of his friends at school will go out of their way to talk to me. And I'm like, 'Luca. Look at all your friends right now, like they've definitely seen me on TikTok.' So like that is cool."
Duff released her latest album, Luck... or Something, in February. She is set to start her Lucky Me Tour in June.
