Kendall Jenner revealed the beauty tips she learned from her older sisters while growing up.

Kendall caught up with PEOPLE during the L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth 2025 event in Los Angeles on Dec. 2. During the conversation, the model and reality star, 30, said she was “extremely lucky” to grow up around sisters Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian — even though she admitted that she didn’t always listen to their advice at the time.

“My sisters, you know, they're a bit older than me, and so they've always kind of given Kylie [Jenner] and me advice since we were really young about … hydrating eye cream when I was like 16 or something," she said. "My sisters were like, ‘You should start doing eye cream now so that you … have no fine lines,' and things like that. So I've always had these little tricks and things that they've been telling me for years that I probably didn't even listen to … even something as simple as sunscreen.”

“And now I've just turned 30, and I'm starting to see the results of the things they tried to spare me from,” she added with a laugh.

The Kardashians star went on to share her beauty philosophy, noting that she tends to prefer a simpler approach when it comes to her personal aesthetic.

“I think that I've always kind of been a less-is-more person when it comes to makeup and beauty,” she explained. “I've always really loved to look like an enhanced version of myself, if that makes any sense.”

She continued, “So I've always really loved a clean beauty look. [And] through modeling and through life and meeting the right makeup artists that work with my face really well and all those things. It's kind of learning your face through that — through other people doing your makeup and learning what works for you and what doesn't.”

“Because I don't personally believe makeup is a one-size-fits-all when it comes to what looks right. Like, I don't think that certain looks will look good on me, but they might look amazing on someone else,” she added.

“So I think just learning your … vibe," she continued. "And so I've gotten the privilege of learning my vibe through the eyes of the best makeup artists in the world, and really feel comfortable with where I'm at with my beauty looks, and how I like to have my makeup done or do my own makeup.”

Kendall, who became a L’Oréal global ambassador in 2023, also said that partnering with the brand has helped her better embrace their iconic tagline, “Because you’re worth it,” in her everyday life.

“I think that [because you’re worth it] every day. It's such a good reminder, right? Because I don't think you always feel — I don't think any of us — constantly feel that way.”

“And that's one of the reasons why I love working with [the brand] … to bring that into my own personal life has been really lovely, honestly. And working with them has opened my mind to [that] positive … self-talk and all those things. So it's a constant reinforcement, and I love it,” she added.
