The look on Prince Harry’s face before seeing King Charles said more than words. The Duke arrived at Highgrove House with Meghan Markle and children by his side for the low-key family meeting. The news comes after the Sussexes’ first visit back to the UK since Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022.

Prince Harry reportedly had an ‘interesting’ reaction before King Charles meeting

Prince Harry appeared in a different mood moments before meeting King Charles, appearing visibly energized and happy.

Royal editor Roya Nikkhah told listeners on The Royals with Roya and Kate podcast, “What was interesting, I thought, was his demeanor when he was at Birmingham on Friday, when he clearly knew this meeting was going to happen. He was going to go from the NEC to Warwickshire. He seemed, and people who saw him there were like, he was pretty buzzing. He always is with Invictus, but he really was.”

“There was no leaking of what happened. There was no emotional response like we have had previously from Harry when he comes out to a meeting and says, ‘I don’t know how much longer my father’s got,'” Nikkhah added.

The journalist further noted that he clearly welcomed the meeting, even with the family feud with his father. She highlighted that Prince Harry got to bring his children to see their grandfather for the first time in four years.
