The reality TV star said the pair had a "really nice time" and Aspen is "awesome"
Carl Radke is shedding new light on his budding romance with fellow Bravoleb Venita Aspen.
Speaking at an event to celebrate season 10 of Summer House with his costars at 92NY in New York City on Wednesday, Jan. 28, Radke, 41, shared an update on what’s going on between himself and the Southern Charm star, 32, following their first date in mid-November.
“We've been talking,” Carl said. “It's been... we've had fun,” he continued, before sharing details of their date.
“She came to Soft Bar [his non-acholic bar in Brooklyn, New York],” he says. “We went to a restaurant in Brooklyn. Had a really nice time. And there's a lot to talk about between two shows that have been going back and forth.”

He added that Aspen is “awesome."
“She's really sweet," he said. "We hung out in November. I saw her again in December. I was just in London for Bravo and Peacock for English Premier League Soccer. She was there. We've been friendly. It's nice.”
The panel’s moderator, Access Hollywood's Emily Orozco, then asked if Radke invited Aspen to London or if she was there anyway.
“She was invited by Bravo,” he explained. “So we were there with a bunch of other people.”
“Bravo knows what they're doing,” Radke’s costar West Wilson quipped.

Radke went on to explain that he’s trying to “take my time” with getting to know Aspen. “I got a lot going on. So, you know, she lives in Charleston, [I'm] in New York City, so we've all seen how that goes,” he added with a laugh, appearing to reference the split between his former costar Paige DeSorbo and Aspen’s costar Craig Conover.
Radke’s comments come after Aspen shared her own dating update during a Jan. 14 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.

“Love me some Bravo on Bravo love. What can you tell us about you and Carl, Venita?” asked host Andy Cohen.
“You know, we’re taking it one day at a time; going out on dates and trying to get to know each other better,” Aspen shared.
Cohen, 57, then quizzed Aspen on whether she was seeing Radke while she was in N.Y.C. for WWHL.
The reality TV star replied that she was “unfortunately” not able to meet the author as she was “in and out this trip.” “Keeping my fingers…” she added as she crossed her fingers.
Fellow guest Porsha Williams then appeared to comment that it was a “situationship,” to which Aspen replied, “No no no. There situationship’s over here. I’m not that type of girl.”
“Ooh so it’s a relationship?” The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 44, asked.
“I’m trying to to see if it can get there,” Aspen said.
Cohen then noted that Radke is too an “intentional person.”
“He is, he’s very intentional, and a very hard worker, and very kind,” she said, adding, “He’s tall with a great smile.”
“She’s glowing,” Williams noted.

Aspen first revealed she had been on a date with Radke on the Dec. 23 episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, admitting that the meetup "lasted for almost five hours."
This came after Radke mentioned that he'd had "a great time hanging out with Venita yesterday," during a Summer House panel at BravoCon 2025 in November, per Bravo's Daily Dish.
“Venita is beautiful," he said. "She’s really cool. We’ve known each other kind of through Ciara [Miller] … Venita's actually been at the summer house. Venita and I got to know each other a bit more yesterday, so we'll see.”
While Aspen confirmed her split from boyfriend Manny Houston during a January 2025 episode of Southern Charm, Radke ended his engagement to his Summer House costar Lindsay Hubbard in September 2023, just weeks before their November wedding.
Summer House season 10 premieres Feb. 3 on Bravo.
