Sweeney candidly discussed her intentions for the brand while speaking to the outlet
Sydney Sweeney is letting her new line of intimate apparel do all the talking in her latest covershoot.
The actress, who launched SYRN on Wednesday, Jan. 28, promoted the new brand in nearly nude photos for Cosmopolitan.
One photo in the spread highlights the actress's curves as she stands sideways in nothing but a black Miu Miu apron and white SYRN lingerie. The look, worn with Messika High Jewelry earrings, was paired with black eyeliner and pink lipstick.

Other photos show her posing in different angles in a black two-piece SYRN lingerie set paired with an Abra top, Dolce & Gabbana boots and Messika High Jewelry bodychain.
Sweeney also opted for a more laidback loop in other photos, wearing a pink SYRN shirt with an Eastie top and yellow SYRN underwear.

The Housemaid star told the magazine that she hopes to see her pieces on women of all types.

"My designers are all women, and I have an amazing diverse team," she said. "My models are a beautiful range of body types. I’m always like, 'I want to see it on every body.' I can’t be the only model. I need to make sure everyone feels really good in it."
While she understands that she might be playing into the male gaze, it's all about women's empowerment for Sweeney.

"People will say, 'Oh, she’s doing this for guys' or 'Oh, she’s a guy’s girl,' " she said. "But I’m like, 'What is more girl’s girl than owning your body and doing it for yourself?' I want it to be their choice—the choice of the wearer—whether this is for them, for somebody else, or for a camera lens."

Sweeney added later on in the interview, "Yeah, this is me reclaiming my body and my narrative and using it to empower other women."
Sweeney stars in The Housemaid, now in theaters, and the upcoming third season of HBO's Euphoria, which debuts on April 12.
