Chalamet, 30, and Jenner, 28, were seen at the FIFA World Cup Final match-up between Spain and Argentina at the New York New Jersey stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Sunday’s World Cup Final game marks the actor and reality television personality’s first time stepping out at a World Cup game together, but far from their first sports outing. The pair have been seen court-side at seemingly countless Knicks games at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
“Way rather this than the Oscars! Come on, baby!” said Chalamet, a native New Yorker, in the wake of the final NBA game against the San Antonio Spurs.
“Knicks are champions, baby!” he declared.

Performers like Madonna, Jennifer Hudson, Shakira, Post Malone and BTS were just a few of the huge names present at Sunday’s game. Other closing ceremony and halftime show performers included Justin Bieber, Burna Boy and streamer IShowSpeed. Jennifer Hudson sang the US national anthem ahead of the match-up between Spain and Argentina.
The 2026 World Cup final is the first to feature a halftime show. It’s also a rare case of a soccer halftime break extending beyond the standard 15-minute time limit. The match broke with FIFA’s rules as the show itself was 11-minutes long, allowing the break to stretch to up to roughly 30 minutes.
