Timothée Chalamet was spotted chatting with girlfriend Kylie Jenner as the two attended Sunday’s World Cup final match.
Chalamet, 30, and Jenner, 28, were seen at the FIFA World Cup Final match-up between Spain and Argentina at the New York New Jersey stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. Expert analyst and professional lip-reader Nicola Hickling honed in on the high-profile couple’s conversation, identifying that Chalamet was struggling with his beverage, saying that there was “so much ice” in his cup as Jenner asked if they were seeing someone after the game.
Chalamet and Jenner weren’t the only celebrities in attendance at Sunday’s World Cup Final. The event was star-studded, with major names like Matt Damon, Gayle King and Anya Taylor-Joy all spotted in the stands.

“Look at ‘em,” finished Jenner as the pair turned their attention back to the World Cup match in front of them. “Looks like the only thing hotter than the match is that duo’s chemistry!” wrote one fan on X in response to a video of the couple.

A critic clapped back at Chalamet and Jenner’s attendance, posting, “Im sure these two don't know anything about soccer... its just peer pressure.” Chalamet was spotted at the semifinal match-up between Spain and France.

Sunday’s World Cup Final game marks the actor and reality television personality’s first time stepping out at a World Cup game together, but far from their first sports outing. The pair have been seen court-side at seemingly countless Knicks games at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
“Way rather this than the Oscars! Come on, baby!” said Chalamet, a native New Yorker, in the wake of the final NBA game against the San Antonio Spurs.
“Knicks are champions, baby!” he declared.
Major Hollywood players like Spike Lee, Larry David, Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld, Mariska Hargitay, Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan and Taylor Swift all attended the 2026 NBA Finals. President Trump, too, was spotted at one of the final 2026 NBA games.

Chalamet and Jenner were among a star-studded crowd at the FIFA World Cup Final. Performers like Madonna, Jennifer Hudson, Shakira, Post Malone and BTS were just a few of the huge names present at Sunday’s game. Other closing ceremony and halftime show performers included Justin Bieber, Burna Boy and streamer IShowSpeed. Jennifer Hudson sang the US national anthem ahead of the match-up between Spain and Argentina.
The 2026 World Cup final is the first to feature a halftime show. It’s also a rare case of a soccer halftime break extending beyond the standard 15-minute time limit. The match broke with FIFA’s rules as the show itself was 11-minutes long, allowing the break to stretch to up to roughly 30 minutes.
